PayChoice's OnLineEmployer has provided an update to the problem experienced by some of our clients identifing some OnLineEmployer websites as unsafe. The text of the
correspondece is below.
To be clear, at no time was any PayChoice web site or any associated data at risk as a result of this issue.
11/4/2010 From: PAYCHOICE SOFTWARE Support Alert
We have received confirmation from Microsoft that problems with the Internet Explorer SmartScreen security functionality was responsible for various websites, including some PayChoice sites, as being identified as unsafe.
While Microsoft has not provided insight into the nature of the problem, they have confirmed that the issue is theirs and that it has been resolved.
Via their official twitter feed (http://twitter.com/MicrosoftHelps ), Microsoft communicates
"@elcapitan26 The issue with SmartScreen was resolved and you should no longer experience trouble. We apologize for the inconvenience. ^SS"
