| UPS Announces Shipping Rate Increase for 2011. |
|
United Parcel Service, Inc. recently announced that it will raise rates for ground packages, air express and international shipments by 4.9% for 2011.
The increase for ground shipments is based on a 5.9% rise in the base rate, less a 1% reduction to the fuel surcharge while the hike in air express and
international shipments originating in the U.S. is based on a 6.9% increase in the base rate, minus a 2% reduction to the fuel surcharge.
Based on UPS's rate increase, Keystone Payroll will adjust their shipping rates in 2011 accordingly.
